This course will cover a variety of compositional strategies that you can turn to whenever you aren’t sure what to write about. You’ll often be able to use them to create a draft of a poem in an hour or less. Includes access to a private forum area where you can post what you write (if you choose), or discuss poetic process with others, as well as detailed private critiques of two poems (500+ words) from the instructor. The course will start January 2, 2025.
